Giving the Rainbow

 

 

The Crayons Project is the most popular of AFRICA Seed's programs. It began as an effort to teach our children that simple items that they routinely discard -- a crayon, a piece of chalk, a pencil -- with a small effort on their part, can serve the needs of children in developing countries who lack access to these basic creative tools. We encourage volunteers in children's organizations to help deliver this message by organizing the collection of crayons in their schools and communities. We call this action Giving The Rainbow.
